SendGrid suspended your account. Here's the way back.
SendGrid acts fast when a send produces heavy bounces, spam reports, or blocks — usually after you mail an old or imported list. The suspension protects their shared IPs; your job is to show them (and their filters) it won't happen again.
Recovery steps
- 1. Reply to the compliance email honestly. Say exactly what the list was and what you're changing. Boilerplate gets boilerplate back.
- 2. Verify the list you intend to mail. Strip invalid addresses, dead domains, disposables. Keep the report — SendGrid compliance responds well to "here's my before/after".
- 3. Fix authentication while you wait. Domain authentication (SPF/DKIM via their CNAMEs) plus DMARC is now table stakes with Gmail/Outlook anyway.
- 4. Re-warm gradually. When reinstated, start with your most-engaged segment, not the full list.
